Welcome back. The past few weeks have sped fast in a whirl of work and competing responsibilities, only to end with a fractured vertebrae 4 weeks, now postpone by 2 to 6 weeks prior to our 4mth trip.
It enables me to wriggle out of rehearsals and singing at the concerts, so hopefully will prove to be a good thing when it opens up more writing time.
OMG welcome back indeed. Yes I noticed you weren't posting any writing on your SS. Oh boy is it painful? Amazingly these things seem to heal well. Yes more writing time, Any way we can get it, we'll take it!
I’m wondering how far I am into this story at Chapter 8, but with slow releases each week (I think) unlike a book, I can’t see how far I’ve travelled and how much further the story continues, so a very different experience.
The last sentence in this chapter ... why “You” (the reader) rather than “I” the writer?
Thanks Maureen, so in the manuscript which is currently sitting at around 68,000 words
( a short book, most are 80,000 to 90,000), this chap ends at P 58. The last chap will end at P. 222. so there's a way to go! Re the 'you' 'i' , that sentence is purposely in the second person. kind of like a saying.
