This sounds both frightening and fascinating. I love this - “shit can happen anytime and life is short.” Important to remember!!

Yes! And knowing this (as we all do intellectually) and experiencing it is something quite different. Still fascinates me that my I still have no memory of those 8 hours.

That would really bother me. I lost a few hours from drinking recently and I hated that. (I googled to find out why and it’s so interesting I’ve been telling everyone, but I need it to not happen again.)

Yes, well it is interesting! The brain is fascinating and really we know so little about it. The weirdest thing is knowing we can’t ever get those moments back!

Haha, thanks Sally. Well I got eye witness accounts from about 5 people, so that helped. Now it feels like a distant dream!

Wow, Jan - what an experience and great message! I had never heard of TGA til now. Aren't our brains a mystery? So glad you are OK.

Yes, in the old days a TGA might have been called 'having a turn'. Seems like it's quite common. My friends were more worried than me! Yes the brain is a mysterious thing for sure! I'm all ok now, a bit fuzzy and a bit emotional but otherwise good.
