and PS, that's one Writer's Journey I could attend - Mornington Peninsula - only about an hour from home!

Hi J & J,

It's me, yet another J.

Love the poem and have the SAME Kerfuffle about what to do 1st. Then as soon as I decide some emergency interferes. Like this morning with an invasion of tiny winged critters massing on my screens & windows inside & out requiring immediate action from Dr Death and Better Buddhist simultaneously reciting prayers for their souls while killing them. Sorrry - there was no other way. I find myself mixing it up in the a.m. & going with the flow all day in spite of all vows. I write 1st or 2nd thing in a.m. then in the middle of eating lunch or prepping dinner or just b4 bed or...or...or...thank goodness for my regular appointments for my beloved Gym/Phisio/Pilates Workout 2x week and Shiatsu 1x week and a couple of other home/garden helpers weekly. Even then I'm almost too busy to write. But when I get going with the writing...I just keep on...writing everything, everywhere. Even here!!!

Well done on the audio! really good fun. I am honoured to be quoted in your Post - I have now tried my mornings in so many different ways (I don't have time to list them all!!!) Anyway, so far, the winner is, wake up and write IMMEDIATELY and find time to fit in the other stuff whenever. And if something gets dropped in the process, at least the writing is being done. And it is so much more fun than the gym, the meditation or even the yoga. Keep me posted on your winning combo.(and please stop posting those glorious pictures. soooo envious.)

Thanks Jennifer, it was fun to do! Yes, there’s something about writing first thing that def does the trick. I seem to be still mixing it up. It’s easier to find time in the day later for exercise than it is to find time to write and I always feel productive after writing. Though my early evening walk yesterday was very satisfying too. Even better than the pics!
